New Zealand’s Football Ferns will play Venezuela in a two-match series in southern Spain in June.
The Ferns are currently #32 in the FIFA women’s world rankings while Venezuela rank #51.
The first game will be played at the Marbella Football Centre in San Pedro de Alcántara, Spain.
The second will also take place in southern Spain, with the venue yet to be announced.
The two countries have never met in a senior international fixture.
Venezuela are likely to include former Wellington Phoenix and current Melbourne City striker Mariana Speckmaier in their squad.
Michael Mayne will continue as interim head coach for the tour.
