NZ Football obviously have planeloads of money to throw around.

This seems like a coach's ego trip to me.

It's the English FA who have loads of money to throw around and I'm sure will be meeting most of the All Whites' expenses.

We've secured this game I'm sure mostly because there are few countries available for England to play in a friendly in that window due to Covid-19 and the Nations League tying up most Euro countries (same with the Belgium game).

Will cost NZ football a lot less than assembling players from all over the world for a home friendly in NZ.

The players only have to travel a short distance from where they live in the UK or Europe.

Plus, the AW's haven't played for almost a year and there's money sitting there earmarked previously for the two cancelled March games in the Middle East and the empty international program this year for all NZ sides.
