Yeah, I'd say that is why Celtic didn't have a problem releasing Killen as the Olympics if he has a decent run, could get them something better than the sh*t the rags have been reporting.
Aparently Killen is getting up to 20k per week ($NZD) so I don't think he'd be wanting to leave in a hurry though.
A shame he didn't get a bigger run with us, but can see him being punted D:

He definately can cut it in the Scottish Premier League, he showed that at hibs, it would be a shame if his value has fallen considerably by  been a bench warmer at Celtic that he can only pick up lower tier clubs.

I still expect Mcdonald to leave Celtic which might create a few mre chances for him.

Why the heck would McDonald be leaving us Touchme?
He signed a 5 year deal, and got the famous number 7 shirt?

Because no offence you are only playing in the Scottish Premier League.

I am sure given the opportunity to test himself in the highest leagues he would love the opportunity. I know you play in Europe, but if you do poorly in that i imagine your league isn't too exciting. Afterall if you don't win, Rangers will and so forth.

Boring and predictable.

The premier league is so much better?
When its only either Chelsea/Man U/Liverpool/Arsenal?
La Legia Real/Barca?
Serie A Roma/Inter/AC/Juve?

Don't get me wrong i think Celtic are a good side internationally.

However, if the league they play in is sooo good then why did the Rangers and Celtic clubs try to join the premier league and would still now if they could. Celtic would probaly be behind a couple other Premier League teams other than the top four in my opinion.

Your team is good but you play in a poxy competition at home,

But that doesnt make any sense? UEFA see the League as strong enought to let them have 2 auto spots for the Champ/League(maybe 3 i could be wrong). As for Killen i think he should move onto the J-league or another league where he can play more often but at a leave thats above NZFC and A-League (If he is not happy at Celtic which i doubt).

It's 2. The runners-up start in 2nd qualifying round, the champions in the 3rd qualifying round.
This in itself is not that impressive really, it's on a par with the Czech, Ukraininan, Turkish and Greek leagues, and behind the Romanian league for example.
I would reckon that of the 5 aforementioned leagues, the Greek and Turkish are better overall than the SPL, Romanian and the Ukrainian are thereabouts, and the Czech perhaps marginally worse.

So whoever compared the SPL with Spanish/English/Italian leagues, you're having a laugh son...

I was making the comparison that certain teams always dominate certain leagues.
Ie waa waa Scottish league is only celtic and rangers. Whereas I made out, apart from the top 4 who i listed, who else really wins the EPL?
Same as in Spain etc.

Celtic and Rangers would love to join the EPL, but it would kill scottish domestic football. Plus I am sure the English clubs would kick up a stink, I don't think it'll ever happen.
We cannot compete with the lowest English clubs, as the TV rights are massive down there, so you can get teams like Sunderland spending 40m a season.
Whereas we spend not much more than 8m.

There are big clubs in any league, and there will always be.

However, I still don't think the comparison is valid. You're probably closer on the mark with the Premiership, where the top 4 have set themselves apart from the rest, but in Spain, even though there have been only 4 champions over there since 2000. But it's not unusual for either Real Madrid or Barca to finish behind less fancied teams (e.g. Barca finishing behind Villarreal this year, Real has in the past few years finished behind Real Zaragoza and Celta Vigo for example), so while they are the big boys there, they don't enjoy the same kind of monopoly that Celtic and Rangers enjoy because of the lower quality of other teams that make up the Scottish Premier League.
