New Zealand Men's U-17s

NZ football is never going to get better by going out to avoid defeat though, hopefully with the arogance of youth these guys will be thinking about winning and going top of the group. And that usa result will give them confidence if nothing else going into the final group game.

 

I think some of us may just be a little more cynical with older age, if they beat uzbeks why cant they beat the other two.

Agree that an Uzbek win was not the best for us.  Predictions for today?  I'm guessing we may struggle a bit but pinch a 1-1

We may still make it one of the top 4 third place teams.

The U.S.A result should give us confidence.

 

A couple things i noticed - USA vs Czech, the USA goals were crackers and not likely to be hit every game, where as our goals all from within the box.

 

Ubek had 20 plus shots, 90 percent from distance barely any from inside the 18 which is a huge tick to our boys defense.
