Played a composite Western Springs side made up of players from age 15 to men's reserves, and lots of under 17 and 19s.
Rested most of the players who started against Forrest Hill in the July camp and no Wellington players, so quite a next tier side. Lost the game and not so great to watch. Against Forrest the starting 11 looked tidy and won 1-0
