I blame Maori Tv... not being racist, but they probably looked at their target market and thought why?

They were however showing a local league game... all major domestic sports get on NZ TV on some channel except football. Surely we can market, record and sustain a commercial package as successfully at domestic rugby league.

Yeah. Mt Albert v Papakura. Croud looked to be about 50 - 75 or so. Anyway, the question is, how come NZF put out the game being shown by MaoriTV as fact when it turns out to be fiction? And why aren't they offering those who were misled an explanation/apology?

Your mistake was the bit I bolded. Just dont ever use this phrase.  So many people have experienced racist comments predicated by "not being racist but" that when someone uses it innocently it can be misinterpreted.

If you had written "I blame Maori Tv...they probably looked at their target market and thought why?" you most probably wouldnt have copped any comments. That version is clear on its intent and doesnt infer racism.
