NZ are now confirmed to have topped their group (for Olympic purposes - New Caledonia are equal on points but aren't eligible for the Olympics) and will play in the second semi-final on Friday at 4.30 pm NZT.
The game vs. New Caledonia on Tuesday is now irrelevant.
NZ's opponent in the semi on Friday (the second team in Group A) will be Vanuatu if Fiji beat Tahiti in their next game - or Fiji if Fiji lose to Tahiti and Vanuatu beat Micronesia by 40 goals or more. (Tahiti are not eligible to make the semi-final because they're not an Olympic member).
Of course Vanuatu seem preferable because I think Fiji seem the best of our prospective opponents.
