Piney said it's for his sisters wedding (Unconfirmed)
He should've flown sister & groom & guests to PNG for the bloody wedding.
I have a story relating to PNG and a wedding.
At my cousin's wedding in Christchurch in the 1990's, one of her best friends flew in from PNG where she and her husband worked at the NZ High Commission.
She told me that they have the death penalty in PNG and to keep the small number of those still with a preference for "the ultimate food taboo" satisfied, the PNG authorities sometimes deliver the corpses of executed criminals to remote locations for "collection".
The authorities only arrest suspected cannibals when they murder people and then eat them as confirmed by this 2012 Associated Press report which quotes a regional police commander:

It should be noted that cannibalism is extremely rare now and only occasionally practiced in very remote locations.
We had a family on our street in Nelson when I was a kid in the 1970's who went off to PNG as missionaries and got murdered.
A Dutch missionary was killed and eaten in 1992, as I read in National Geographic magazine recently.
