I think captains for any team should be someone who's either been in the setup for a while or is just such a natural leader that they can command respect straightaway. The latter type are  very rare, although Nelsen would probably count as one. Dura is definitely captaincy material but I don't think he's got that extra bit of presence to justify being named captain when he's never played with the side before. 

Not sure about Smith as captain either though, Reid is a maybe but sometimes seems a bit of a loose cannon (thinking his red card vs Paraguay). Vicelich could do it but he's 108 years old so not exactly  a long-termer. I'm don't think any of our attacking players really seem like the type either. It's a tough call.
