I actually thought the new Eden Park was pretty good for football. It is rectangular, which is a great start, and you are not miles away from the action. I wouldn't mind too much if the playoff were to be held there, as long as it sells out completely and is not just half full.
In saying that, I think Wellington is by far the best option for this game. Anyone who thinks otherwise just needs to remember how awesome the atmosphere was on November 14.
I agree, for the atmosphere, but after recently losing my job getting to Wellington rather than Auckland is a completely different beast :( I really don't want to miss the intercontinental play-off. Before the Bahrain game I got my ticket so early it said all-whites vs bahrain/saudi arabia.
