Eden Park being full, It is an amazing venue.

Seems to differ with the popular view. Do you care to expand?

The one time I have been it was full for a league test match. The stadium was easy to get around despite the crowd and the view from the seats were good, we were quite close to the action. Cake tin was a nightmare to get out of from memory of the Bahrain game the seats were so far away from the action. I get the feeling the crowd will be good where this game is as anyone who was at the Bahrain game will travel.

I think you have your grounds/cities mixed up.

I'm a bit worried that when I met winston Reid's uncle yesterday he was convinced the game was in akld. The dunners crowd was bad enough- but akld crowds are pretty rubbish.

I know the crowd was not huge, but I do seem to remember a crowd of about 2000 at an all whites game v one of the Oceania teams in Wellington a few years ago.

I am not convinced that this game would have gotten many more anywhere else- possibly due to poor Phoenix season, combined with poor advertising, and a degree of arrogance amongst the casual supporters who seems to think every pacific team is an easy beat.

Most important for me regarding the playoff match is that a decision is made soon- tickets to the game aren't the issue- flights from Dunedin are. For me and my daughter it is going to cost a fair bit, so earlier will help.
