This decision should be appealed - NZF would not have a leg to stand on. It MUST follow its own rules. No discretion in matters of eligibility.

The article discuss a genuine administrative error but I don't see anywhere where it says that's what the ruled on. The only thing they've ruled on is the 48 hours.
