Same Radio Sport.... But to be fair, Dan Carter is on holiday, Hoisting Gems may leave the Phoenix and the Breakers still have a slither of a chance....

Oh yeah, Rugby and Australian leagues - that's all that matters.

Is live radio broadcast for those outside of NZ?

I've tuned into Radio Sport but not sure which channel I should be on.

lol at the 6 knitters singing the same monotoned song over and over.

Between that and Dewhurst, I might just give up and mute the TV soon.

So far I'm more distracted by the salt and vinegar chips that Dale has brought me than this game.

Just regular Eta Ripples. I've whipped up some maggi onion dip. Am just about to chop one of Wilso's ciders.

ACFC bossing possession and playing in TW's half but I'll be happy not to fall asleep by half time.

Tidy from Tade. Cowan has to do better there.

Great ball from ol' man Vicelich to set it up.

Is the reason that Harry Ngata is commentating this and did the Japan game because of a conflict of interest for Fred doing NZF games? Can we offer Dewhurst a token role on the Nix board or something so he can't commentate our games?

Dewhurst pronouncing Tribulietx's name wrong is really pissing me off.

I'm sort of pottering about so coming in and out of the lounge but by god that monotonous dirge will haunt me to the rest of my days.

Prey they never get an A league franchise if this is the only cacophony they can come up with. What a dire lot these supporters are.

Is this noise the reason Gareth wants to invest in Auckland? Hire the supporters as Cat Scarers?

It's no wonder all their players want to leave and join Wellington Nix.

The US Army need only to come over to Auckland and find a cheap alternative to their sonic weapons research, it will save them millions

FT 1-0. TW put up a decent fight, unlucky not to score in the second half particularly. Better team won though.

Three for me, and two for them.

That was a rather ordinary game. Please don't anyone say how great the ASBP is because that was yet another televised poor advert for our national league

Watching NPL in Oz - Ok first game of  a new season ASB Preimer  is better. Game was like CL v cap Prem team. But it will improve far quicker than ASB has. Due to patrons  (Spelt money men)

You should know better Mike. Whilst this was not the best game, you go to enough City games to know that they are generally better than this. So don't publicly judge the one televised game when you know that it's not a fair representation of the whole competition. Hell, if we judged the World Cup based solely on the final, nobody would ever watch it.

Both points true. While the game yesterday was considerably better than the two previous televised games last year from Westpac Stadium, it was a tough watch. Finals are often a let down. We all know that, but for the average punter who watched yesterday, was it enough to make them say "Shit. I must go and watch that ASBP" . Not so sure.

You're right on that point but for football fans and especially ones who frequent ASBP games to judge the whole ASBP as crap is misguided if not damaging to the national league.

I agree, But as I say, that is now three opportunities that a casual punter has had to view on the box and none of them have been a great advert.

Additionally , are you in the lucky position of viewing what is undoubtedly the best team in the league week in and week out, giving you a false impression of what the rest of the league may be like?

Correct but their are other good teams in the ASBP also - CU, TW, HBU and Waitak - even Waibop were reasonable this year.
