There's no "better than the YF" chant, that's just silly stirring on this forum. The ACFC supporters sing about their club and players, who I know really appreciate it. The coach also appreciates the singing, especially if the team's performance needs a boost on field. Last Sunday's singing was boisterous and often funny. There may be only about 15 singers but they make up for it with enthusiasm and passion. In the last few games the singers have been joined by some young Brazilian students and a couple of German supporters who think this is perfectly normal.They always get a good round of applause from the players after a game.
Always amazes me to see spectators in the stand stare at the singers as if this they can't understand why anyone would come to a football match and make any noise. I personally can't understand how someone can go to a game and not say anything the entire match.
