Would the Wellington Rugby release their physio for TW? When you look at preseason and when it starts in the middle of the ASBP, they would not agree to that because their prized assets are worth more. There would be nothing to be gained by rugby from football by pairing up.

The model could stoke parochial feelings and support. It could create a new dynamic here that puts more of an emphasis on teams representing and perhaps less on the tools and rules of any chosen game.
