Thought they were generally fantastic to watch in that second half. Still prefer Ramon footy but the players are so cultured. Suited Tade and Rogerson fine I reckon, think Manickum likes a more AM role so can see him not working well - did a lot of running in behind which doesn't really fit his game. Agree with the point that the team can afford to take more risks though. Game could and should have been 3+ goals if Tade, Blake and Manickum just shot the ball through on goal instead of looking to lay it off.

Riera's still got it, wow. Was worried after the injuries last season but his technique is special.

Speaking of injuries... Doyle, Bilen, Berlanga, Rogerson all out, and Blake and Rogers with nasty head clashes today - it's only been one game...

Suburbs defence was nice in the air. Lissette's a monster, and doesn't look bad on the ball either. Dan Edwards had great energy, good to see him step up. Bright disappointed a little, hard to make your debut at holding mid against the champions
