Summary of todays game.

Canterbury had a wind advantage in the first half.  Played some great football but should have 'pulled the trigger' a lot earlier with the wind behind them.  Plays broke down when in likely scoring areas or one touch too many when a shot should have been taken.  Wellington looked dangerous down Fa'arodo's wing and was a handful for Collett.  1 nil to Canterbury did not seem enough to hold Wellington with the wind.

Wellington really dominated early in the second half and scored an equaliser in a goal mouth scrabble early in the half (from a set piece from memory).  Canterbury looked resigned to the draw even pulling off a forward and stacking the defense to the disappointment of the fans.  Wellington then went on to score to make it 2 - 1.  Canterbury were lucky to snatch a draw at the end right on full-time through a goal to Spain.

Sean Devine's reaction to a fan was quite disturbing he ran into the Wellington team's technical area and launched himself against the fence with expletives after Canterbury scored their equaliser.  Not a good look for a coach - looked like a loose cannon.
