Anyone else watch the youth team game and think how n why are some of those boys in the senior team? The only players who had a half decent game were young Lew, Red's boy Zach, the lad JJ and thts it can't think of another player who did anything special. The boys from the senior team n I'm not including Terris were all shocking. The lad Meysum is highly overrated n I'll never understand why, I've heard things like "tht boy can change a game" or "best young player in chch" both a load of crock. Jackson seems out of his depths at youth level how the hell is he going to cope whn called up to asb premiership. He didn't have the best winter season from wht I saw n heard n neither did Meysum so who was Willys scouts? Boon was average n has been all season which is a real shame. Sam Cox was awful all game gifting Auckland a goal trying to be too cocky at the back...not sure how or why he was a late inclusion in the senior squad because the home game against Waitakere he was average even giving away a penalty because of once again being cocky at the back. Why weren't kids like Sho even looked at, thought he had a decent season.
