Exactly,

Gerdson out of his depth in player selection etc and as for his amatuer assistant...terrible

As for the players, young kids and most of the other MPL players not even good enough to compete week in week out at MPL level.

As for Ogilvie,Chang and the other imports just look at the level they have been at before coming here!

700 fans turning up is poor compared to seasons gone past.

Time to ditch Gerdson and get men back playing to at least compete

OK. let's talk sensibly here. Who's paying $10 to watch that again? with no option to pay $5 and go home after the youth game? (paid my $10 and $2 for a programme and they couldn't be bothered putting the Tasman youth team in it! Probably time for Mainland to hire a marketing person!) Not me! Our team has demotivated our best player/2016 captain/All White. Last weeks man of the match (by a long mile) couldn't get on the field. We play an over stayer in midfield who will be lucky to play again this year, not because of his immigration status but because he's not very good! Ask the Polish coach again how many times he spoke to Lyle Matthysen before he signed for Tasman! I'll give you a clue it was between -1 and 1! Young Bryon Heath in the youth team is the form player in Canterbury at the moment and will not get a game under the current arrangement of playing poorly performed Canterbury qualifying league players and overstayers.

Hey Board members! I've spoken to some of you and put my opinion forward! I am happy to be proven wrong, but success wont come if you stick with the status quo! Our team needs a management staff that puts a Canterbury team on the park that doesn't go down limply to Nelson and Otago! Send the current guy back to Warsaw and get Clappy and Terris back on the park! And players that understand what Canterbury is and means!

Some great points here, and couldn't agree more. If Clapham can forget the its all about me attitude, then we will see the benefits but im not so sure. Playing for Canterbury used to mean something, but thats been missing for years

Thanks for your support! Disagree with your "all about me attitude" Clappy is our best local product and you may have confused him carrying the team with selfishness! When in a healthy environment he dominates and scores crucial goals. It's ok if he's not available next week though because Joe Hall is travelling to Auckland as one of the 3 outfield subs! Here's a scenario for you! Chang misses the bus to Kiwitea Street (like that sitter today), 2 injuries in the first half, do you bring Joe Hall on? or the reserve goalie in the middle of the park?

I hope what your saying is not about costs, if so its a disgrace! I did hear Joe is a pretty decent Sunday league player though

Teams get 18 tickets paid each away trip, as part of their entry fee.

So that's 11 starters, five subs, two coaches.

I'm not sure who Canterbury takes as additional staff instead of subs.
