You might as well put the programme notes into a comic strip. To say the league is close from bottom to top is just deluded. Where did this guy come from and to talk about making the region proud. Bottom of the league and no wins in 13 games is probably not the time to start talking about this. No mention of training this week so I can only assume it’s been average. The fact of the matter is that after the announcement from NZ Football about the disbandment of the current format of the Premiership, Mainland Football will be very happy, as they can off load the burden of running Canterbury United while the staff can continue to collect their salaries to run the federation without the necessary efforts to run the Canterbury United franchise.
