Feverish Must be the O-League Carrot Greenie 🤷♂️
Hard to keep up with the Oleague and CWC qualifications and tournament timing these days!
Shambles Miramar rebuild looks in decent shape, they'll at least qualify.

You can never write them off hence the caveat of based on preseason. Even the 4th spot is a lottery because Petone have made some great signings Jaga, George Walker, Amir. Karori looked to have some solid pick ups. Wests look to be back on track after the last two years. It's going to be an interesting year fore sure.

I watched their last couple of games, more shape than last season. Jack O'Connor looks good, the new Canadian guy up top looks like a handful. It's probably more that the players have had an extra year together as well.

Whanga have gone all global
Shambles
Weenix lose most of their starting lineup for 3-4 weeks for U20WC and who knows what some of them are doing after. After a couple years covid hiatus I expect a couple may head to US universities come late July, so second might be a stretch for them. Plus they have already lost a couple to other places.
E.g. I see Adam Supyk is listed with ES.

Back back, or just back for a bit?

Back back, or just back for a bit? heard it was back back. Played yesterday in Hilton Petone (which was Olympics 2nd team)
Heard he had signed for an NPL2 club in Oz but they weren't playing him so he came back.
Can't play against ACFC in OCL games though as players had to be registered by Jan 30th for that
Wests going full Canadian this season - he's about the 3rd or 4th they've signed
Norths going American - they have about 3
Miramar going Melville
Olympic looking formidable
My guess - not really based on anything but a bit of a feeling
1 Olympic
2 Nix
3 Wests
4 Napier
5 Miramar
6 Petone
7 Waterside
8 North Welly
9 Stop Out
10 Whanganui Athletic
Tyler
Interesting and potentially a bit concerning for petone, I think its also probably a good example of just how strong olympic are now.

Olympic signing up a storm with several Mar incl Watson, plus Hoy, Merlin, Taye

*Club World Cup
And with that the 2023 CWC carrot, supposedly the last in it's current format.

New boys Whanganui Athletic been announcing a few signings, mostly re-signings or pickups from around Central region:
- Ben Winterson, formerly of Cambridge, Edge Hill United (Aus) and Havelock North
- Tre DeJohn and Thomas Cudby forward partnership from Hawera FC
- Jamie Clark coming back from UK, played for Dereham Town there

If Hilton Petone is an indicator, I would say Stop Out look in trouble.
What makes you say Wests are back on track out of interest?

Whanganui Athletic have signed winger Josh Lawson from Havelock North. Played 15 Central League games last season. Seem to be strengthening a fair bit from around the Central region, and appear to have a big squad.

Quillan Roberts was with Nelsen and Brockie at Toronto FC in 2013/14, but never played for the first team.
I know it’s only pre season but Petone lost to Olympic reserves last night. I’m unsure if all Petone’s first team players were playing.

Has Bouzoukis gone? Wondering if this is wrong since Gould is back
https://www.aucklandcityfc.com/news/1921/12/Auckland-City-FC-set-for-Olympic-showdown/
Forwards Kailyn Gould, Jesse Randall and Gianni Bouzoukis have all departed but the Olympic squad has been strengthened with the addition of former Wellington Phoenix players Hamish Watson, the Central League’s Player of the Year last year and ex All White Joel Stevens who had been playing professionally in Sweden.

Who needs transfermarkt when linkedin exists?
And who needs LinkedIn when you've got Twitter 😏
He's been in Finland, although haven't been able to pick up much information on this.
Obviously dated a few weeks back, and no further updates that I can see, so will see what I can dig up.
He did follow a couple of clubs and agents from around Finland on socials a little while back, so perhaps still trialling?
**Edit**
As of 26/2 he was still trialling with SalPa. Has even made a few sub appearances in the Ykköscup as they build up to their league season.

Ykköscup jatkuu tänään vajaan tunnin matkan päässä Tammisaaressa EIF:n vieraana. EIF voitti viime viikolla KäPan 3-1 joten vastassa on lohkonsa voitokkaat joukkueet. Meillä on mukana myös kaksi uutta mielenkiintoista testipelaajaa: Lassi Forss & Gianni Bouzoukis. pic.twitter.com/gYz0IEShzx
