Buffon II
Can see it happening but he would be on big bucks you’d imagine.

At city, Kilkolly is the main striker and De Vries and Manickum are the two main creators. Tade would probably still start every week for most clubs including Springs.
The only reason Tade doesn't get 90 minutes every week is because of his body. He's easily still one of the best players in the league.

why has kemeys left olympic?

Young family, business interests, hasn't had much of a break in the last two seasons due to both CL and NL running across the course of the year.

Funny I was just sent their instagram post by a friend and came in here to post that.

Massive signing and a huge statement from Springs.

Three for me, and two for them.

There was a pretty significant bust up after the Chatham Cup loss as well. People on here with more knowledge than I were talking about it.

The amount of BS on the NL forum that would be stopped by enforcing logins would be dropped by 3 quarters overnight but also it would stop people dropping in some real good juicy stories - so I'm kinda happy to leave it as it is.

calling rando people cowards on a completely different message board is not as effective as you think it is.

... you have no idea what you're talking about Tim. It's a joke. I don't literally think people who are anonymous on that forum are cowards. That's just what anonymous posters were called on Slashdot. I repeat, it's a joke.

(watch how the fact that someone else didn't recognize a decade-old internet meme gets turned into more proof that I'm a uniquely bad person on this forum, lol)

I never said you were a bad person - you do seem to dislike the NL forum very much thought.

Perhaps it was a joke, although I have never heard of Slashdot so apologies for having no idea about that.

I don't dislike the NL forum per se. I disapprove of the occasional outbreaks of racist or sexist sentiment on there, but the trolling is quite funny. And you're right that the anonymity allows some valuable gossip to leak.

Come to think of it, you're the only one I can think of there who's not an anonymous coward, lol. I post under at least 3 pseudonyms myself :D

It’s only the internet boys and girls. None of it really matters.

NZF's version.

Seems a bit mad that the team the finished second and we’re runners up in the grand final only had 1 player in there but there are three players from eastern suburbs in the line up.

De Vries by all accounts didn't have a great season for ES, given the level he's played at not long prior (Swedish top flight), though he's still  recovering from his bad ACL injury. Might have been a more he's a recent AW pick by whoever at NZF assembled this selection. Niche Cache had him in his 3rd XI, and fellow ES veteran Adam Thomas not at all.

Think Auckland franchise will be taking a good look at Luis Toomey. Will Howieson make himself available?
