Miramar 2 - 4 Birkenhead
Not quite sure what's happened with Miramar these past couple of weeks. Poor at the back, sloppy in possession and some soft goals conceded. They nabbed a couple today, but they've shipped 8 in these opening 2 National League games. Birkenhead, as they were last week, were very good - clinical and a lot to like about their play. They've got a lot of guys who have played together for years (and they're still a bloody young outfit!) those combinations & lines of communication really come to the fore at this level. They looked relatively comfortable today, despite being pegged back on a couple of occasions.

Birko go top, Miramar stay last.
Still 7 rounds to go after this one, but you feel Miramar already have probably got too much to do to get back into contention even at this early stage...
