I watched the replay last night and I'd be very surprised if there was 8 minutes of added time. There were two injury breaks and they didn't seem to be the equilvent of 5-6 minutes worth.

Especially when you consider that there 3 more minutes on top of the 8.

There was about 4 minutes for the Howieson injury,  add in 3 subs each thats another 3 mins so 7 mins + 1 the ref got from somewhere else

The 3 extra minutes at the end no idea where he got that from, only thing I could guess was the ref was getting annoyed with Mario Barcia continually berating him about how time should be up so he got stubborn and kept play going

Yeah but Barcia's berating started after 10 minutes of additional time had already been played, and it wasn't really adding any more time as it was happening in natural stoppages before ACFC were taking corners.

And the ref had started looking at his watch after about 8 and a half minutes of additional time were played, it was just bizarre that he kept the game going for almost 3 minutes after that.

Where was he from?    Auckland Ref?

Yes, he is Auckland based. I don't know if that's where he's originally from.

Agreed. 8 minutes were too much to begin with, and almost an extra 3.5 on top of that is very hard to justify.

Anyway, great game - looking forward to the final (sucks it's going to be played over two legs)!

What are the Fijians like? I thought Marist were excellent when they forced TW to a draw in the opening game of the group stages, and I picked they would have made it to the final.  Interesting!

Auckland City beat them 1-0 in the group stage, Team Wellington beat them a couple of times in friendlies in Fiji in January (8-0 & 3-0 I think)

They have Totori, Brian Kaltack (Rapa & Tasman) & Corey Chettleburg playing for them - although not sure if Chettleburgh is still there

Any place to find full updated squad lists for the Pacific island teams? Sometimes you luck out on Wikipedia with a 2018 squad but often it's 4 years old or something.

Anyway, Lautoka were the only team that Auckland were worried by in the group stage. Just a tight 1-0 victory. Should be a challenge but if TW plays anything like they did yesterday then I can only see a win

They have a strong squad with Chettleburgh, Kaltack and Totori.

Also a good keeper with Mateinaqara, they only conceded 5 goals in 6 games.

Drudru comes back from suspension and will replace Sahib.

It ll be a nice final but if all goes normal Wellington will win this game.
