Otago have re-signed Terry Alvino for the upcoming NZFC
season. He will be joined by centre back Kevin Taylor and
also a striker from the Vancouver Whitecaps.
I'm just guessing here, but could that striker be none
other than Alen Marcina? He was traded to the Whitecaps by
Montreal Impact earlier in the season. That fella sure gets
around.
Interestingly, the goalkeeper for the Whitecaps is none other
than Lutz Pfannenstiel.

Its a hard one for me to figure. I thought Marcina was on of
the Knights best players and would be a target for other A league
clubs. Also I think the wages these players recive in the US
are not to sharp and people like Marcina would jump at the chance
of a few extra dollars in there off season playing NZFC like a
handful of yanks have. But to me he still seems to classy for
the NZFC. Hope I'm wrong.

Yeah he does seem too good for the A-League, having said that I
would love to watch him, as long as he dont score against us :D
