Watched a few of the games over the weekend and realise there were a few roslyn boys missing, but i reckon they'll struggle this season. Cavy & Tech to battle it out for top spot for sure, i actually doubt any roslyn players would be good enough to start for both these teams unless they're better than Rhys Henderson in goal
haha im a few a few roslyn boys would be better in goal than henderson hes only 5'8 for a start. Is he staying at cavy? im sure he would be welcome at roslyn if he wished

Your are right there Horse was a strange move but i don't think they had many other options,I doubt it very much that he would leave Caversham to play a hack style of football at Roslyn but if he's not playing he has nmo other option except sit on the bench and hope either the gifted Horner or Smith get injured but no1 would wish that upon there team mates
It appeared in the weekend that the top three sides (Cavy, Roslyn, Tech) are all struggling for keepers this year. Is this any clue to who each of these teams will put between the sticks on April 4th?
Caversham have there keeper that filled in with Little away half of last season,What about Grant Mercer does he not play anymore? As for Tech not sure
New Tech keeper was sorting out his transfer form last night & he didn't look like Callum Flaws

I think he is also in the NZ volleyball team , he has been away on a training camp for the last few weeks
Interesting..I hope he dosen't spoil his Volleyball career by hurting his back picking the ball up out the back of his net all day

Think Tech have their quota of gingers for this season, Cavy on the otherhand have a free position available
He is quality and would sent either smith henderson or horner to the bench quick smart

"White Lightning" Horner are all very decent players but also quite short for centre backs so McKinley could be a good acquisition?
Likely starting team I am just going with the team that started the South Island final last year minus Little and Wheeler

Looks to me like a solid platform to base you team on. Not sure of squad depth and number�s tho.

Both arnt big guy but i watched the game against Waitakeri and they did ok so im sure they will manage in the SPL!Alought Mckinley may go well he just isn't going to leave Varsity

There is a very good reason Mckenzie or Mrs Soccer isn't playing for team welly in the playoff race. apparently he is in a pay dispute with the team, at the start of the season he was promised 500 dollars a game and team welly have only payed him half of what is owed to him. you could describe the suituation as a player strike. and yes Ross "mcdaddy" Mckenzie is toooooo big for the Spl

I wouldn't think he is worth $500 a season? From what i heard about there game on saturday Ross "Mcdaddy" Mckenzie was worth a knob of goat sh*t only good for abit of abuse towards the ref and his team mates,But with Alistair"The bulldozer"Rickerby now at tech Rosco will be looking pritty red faced from the bench
