Sad News about the passing of John Wilkinson, one of the good guys around Otago Football. Had the privilege of playing under him at Green Island in 98 where we played 16 games scored 90, conceded 10 & still didn't win the league! RIP

Wellington will win but not by 6+ but they will secure the win. The Otago defence is very good but struggle in midfield now with Cunningham gone. When Overton is out this squad will look very thin. You are all right about Otago about the Christmas break...a downhill spiralFootball Talk2012-01-19 14:20:49

Ive heard a rumour that matt woodhead has signed for Green island? Thoughts?Grants Braes are a garbage football club.
Who?
Yep exactly, who?
Will the same old clubs make up the top four in the league this year, it's been the same for a while now, think Northern were the last team.
Some teams have started their pre season training, heard Coldicott & Day were spotted training at Memorial, the Otago Utd coach wouldn't be happy with this?

Southland who are 50/50 at this stage of playing in the SPL are looking at signing a few Dunedin based players, names to be mentioned were Morgan Day & Harley Rodeka
Yarn
And a sh*t yarn at that
i don't really care if you think it's a yarn but Southland will be headhunting Dunedin players

Joel is def the quickest with the ball, then Coldicott & also think Regan would beat Tim Dunn in a sprint
