Well, calling all fans to turn up to watch OU play the last home game for this season against Jaffa FC the boys really would love to see a massive crowd to cheer them on to be the first team to beat the over rated JAFFAS, Come on OTAGO UNITED
OU have forked out and hired Forsyth Barr for the day . We're flying down for the day too. So the least we can all do is turn up. See you at 2.

Talk it up Brookside, you were lucky with that sh*tty result. It was played in sh*t weather but at least you turned up to play not like those soft cocks from northern. When we get our OU boys back I'm sure we will spank your homo arse's when the comp starts. Say hello to your wife (sorry ment sister)

Well that's telling it as it is...I was playing for the mighty Rosyln several years back and I can't recall that degree of 'feeling' from a Roslyn player/supporter...chill roslynfc..our time will come again if the boys can stay off the booze. Now on a lighter note...a 3-1 loss for OU against the mighty AFC today not a bad result on paper...but how were we?NatPevin2012-03-11 19:07:43

Just heard news that Craig Ferguson (OU left back) has signed with Roslyn. Thought he may have gone with Mosgiel, but then again half that team will be preparing for Beer Pong nationals.
not good news for mosgiel as he would be a valuable player for them. Also bad news is that of caldicott breaking his leg. Anybody know how he did it? Im assuming this is why he didnt play on Sunday as Rab did not elaborate on the website?
Times are tough on the plains by the look of things.

Well thats news to me in regards to Ferguson coming to us, we will just have to wait and see what happens when OU break for the season as untill then no player has signed to go anywhere.
I heard that Regan and Richard had a massive blow up on saturday morning and told him that he's finished playing at any level. Shame as he's an ok player

Coldicott's pace and power sets him aside as a player...I can't and don't believe Murray would say he has no future. He may have spoken to him about his attitude; and that may be fair enough. The Otago side has some raw talent that needs to be encouraged. You can't buy pace and technique and physical power in young players and so I hope Aajay Cunningham, Coldicott, Stevens (if he comes back), Ridden, Fitzpatrick, Brook (if he comes back), and Ryder are looked after over winter because they seem like promising young players who are also good athletes.

Are Mosgiel even going to play Chatham Cup this season? I see youve also picked Cavvy to be the under achievers yet you still think theyl be in the mix at the end of the season???

Jackson is one of the academy players in the OU squad this year. Not sure if hes played or not? Agree that Joel is a super talent. What are the limits for young player because the majority of the OU team are still young in their own right its just theyve been playing at southern league level for 5 or 6 years now

The otago season is coming to and end. I feel the heart shown by the men out there was very commendable but at times the execution and tactics where lacking for national league level.
On a side note the Otago united boys are having a drinking session tonight, I heard that coach Duncan may be late because he has misplaced his car keys though.

Ant Hancock playing in Timaru this season for Northern Hearts. Was planning on sticking round with Caversham but too much travel has forced him back to his homelands. All the best Ant
