that may be why otago gets little support because only 3 teams in the league are good enough to contribute players.
The 3 teams are strong ebecause they are able to attract the players through success and money. Tech and Cavvie are able to draw on large grants from Pokie Trusts, not sure where Roslyns funds come from.
The other clubs try but struggle to retain and attract sufficient quality players to compete at the same level. It isn't a level playing field.
