I tend to agree with you though. I dont see why players would want to follow mike fridge to tech, i presume players went there because either a)they like to play at culling park and enjoy the pies at culling cafe or b)there were some good players at tech (2006/2007) and the likes of scollour, coburn, flaws and probably others (who had spent time at tech in the past) thought it sensible to play for the club and try help deliver some silverware. I highly doubt mike fridge being there was a draw factor for many players althought he did come from the UK with a reasonable pedigree.
