I chatted to a couple of Mainand boys heading to the Futsal Nats Rnd 2 in Wellington this morning.
They had the same story, seems team got told of starting spots after training with TB on the bench, he had to ask the coach why.
Tom staying in Dunners for the weekend and may be the coach has given him his one game for the season.
Thinks because JP comes from Queenstown on game day he should get a run. Don't know how many training JP has been to.
So on this line of coaching RH will drop Moss for Wednesday.
More to come once the weekend over.

There's actually some nice stuff from us early on. Jacob looked good going forward. Quality finish from Morris and brave stuff from big Higgins to get his head on the end of Aajay's nice free kick.
Their first goal is a result of Higgins and one of the CBs (Atwood I think but it's grainy) not dealing with their winger and then the CB gives away that free kick. Then it looks like the Brazilian (but one of the CBs should have been on Mosquera not a bloody striker) not dealing with the free kick - it's a decent header right in the corner and I wouldn't blame the keeper for that. Their second is because of another botched clearance (there's a classic mis-kick from him in the first half as well) by the same CB, and I blame their 3rd on the CBs (the keeper was pretty unsighted for the shot) as well because they don't deal with the free kick in the build up. Neither CB looks anywhere near imposing enough, particularly in the air. So yeah, for me, it's all about Overmire and Atwood not being up to it.

In fairness, that's because we don't get given very accurate info.

I do know it's not the contributors to the various clubs home games that are at faulty.
Doesn't help with trying to promote the games though.
Definitely defensive lapses at times but I am confident Batty would have saved the last two goals if he was in the same form as the Waitakere game.
Goal 2 - Difficult to save when you come out when you clearly shouldn't and are then left running backwards. I'm no expert in goal keeping but physics tells me that it's very difficult to dive sideways when you're running backwards (try it).
Goal 3 - Simple - catch the initial weak cross which wasn't under pressure, instead of punching it back to the oncoming attacker.
Hopefully Matt Joy this week will sure up the defence. If he is playing....

He knows FA about what is going on with SU. Ask some of the players if you want to get the best Goss about how to run a ship aground without thinking about the crew and shareholders.

Always been shit? For an old head you have a bad memory. And no-one was acting like we were the best - get a grip on yourself man, or at least if you are going to call names give it a decent lash. We've gone from the third worst, to the second worst, to looking like we might be the worst by some distance in three consecutive seasons. Sack the board, sack the coach before xmas please.
