It was a really good game, a vastly improved performance. A couple of stand outs for me,
Joel, power of work. No disrespect to Aaron but at times he was doing the job for two. Could benefit from being a lesser light in a stronger team.
Back line were rock solid for 70 minutes, marvellous effort, pressure did tell in the end. Remember thinking at one point that Fergie had ran out of puff then they scored.
I thought "Little Lion Man" and the striker were being naive with the throw in. They left the ref with no option but to book someone and since the "Little Lion Man" was nearest the ball it was him. Might be paying his own fines.
Central/Ivan were rattled in the second half. Some of the Central players didn't ender themselves to the small but vocal crowd.
Quietly impressed with the Ref, did a good job of keeping the game flowing. Wasn't heavily involved even when the emotions were getting the better of some.
