No I don't think so, people's beds have been made, they are now stuck with them. I think there may be some exception to the rule about goalkeepers tho.
Here is the reg around registering players for teams that qualify for the Championship Phase, have to be U20 players.
27.4 A Participant who qualifies into the Championship Phase may register an additional two (2) Under 20 Players following the conclusion of the Regional Phase, who are deemed eligible to compete for the Participant, as an exception to regulation 27.3. For the avoidance of doubt no Participant is able to register these additional Under 20 Players from another Participant who qualifies for the Championship Phase. In all cases the NZF Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players in respect of the number of registrations a Player may hold in a single season apply.
27.3.1 A Player who has been listed as a goalkeeper in the Start List at least once during the NL Season for a Participant may be replaced at any time, with another goalkeeper, on a permanent or temporary basis as determined by the Competition Manager, on account of illness or injury which prevents the relevant goalkeeper from playing, where: a A certificate from a medical doctor is provided; and b The replacement Player is listed as a Goalkeeper.
Well done Coastal Spirit! 2-0 over league leading Cashmere Tech
With that win they're now only 1 point off the top and have put themselves properly in contention for the league.
As for Chch Utd (Who I'm sure would've wanted a Cashmere Tech win so they could go equal with Coastal on points with a win tomorrow) this now means their final matches against Coastal Spirit and Cashmere Tech are going to be really important in having a chance to qualify for the National League this year.
Also that was Cashmere Tech's first league loss this season and Coastal are still undefeated.
Round 13 Fixtures: Saturday 12:30pm Dunedin City Royals vs. Christchurch United 2:45pm FC Twenty 11 vs. Ferrymead Bays 3:00pm Selwyn vs. Cashmere Technical Sunday 12:30pm Nelson Suburbs vs. Universities of Canterbury 1:30pm Coastal Spirit vs. Nomads
You would hope that is not the case as if any club do not achieve the 10% of the total available playing time in the Regional Phase of the National League, then they are eligible to Participant in the Championship Phase, then the Participant will not be eligible to be a Participant in the immediately Following NL season. Have Coastal run into a bit of trouble regarding U20 minutes?

Calm down fellas, all is in hand. It's a marathon not a sprint.
From what I’ve been told, Coastal have only around 3% of U20 minutes, so I would say that regardless of it being a ‘marathon’, they’re still in trouble. Is the ban for not achieving the 10%, is this national league and the next?
I think whoever told you 3% is way off the mark.Football enthusiast

https://www.transfermarkt.com/coastal-spirit-fc/leistungsdaten/verein/38381/plus/0?reldata=NSL1%262023 - if anyone can piece together the players' ages, then you can work it out from here
I believe there is a least one other player that is under 20, but I will let you work that out, and of course with 6 rounds to play other Under 20 players may be going to clock minutes up for Coastal as wellFootball enthusiast
It looks to be 7.7% of minutes played so far, which is 5.12% of total minutes.
Calculations below
Jake Hale (513) + Api Rabuka (395) + James Hoole (6) = 914.
Total minutes throughout the season (90x11x18) = 17,820.
914/17,820=0.0512
Minutes so far = 90x11x12 = 11,880.
914/11,880= 0.0769.
Although I wasn’t exactly correct with the 3% of total minutes, isn’t far off🤣
Potentially Jack Lanigan, but I’m unsure, just trying to get confirmation on that. He’s only played 63 minutes anyway!
If Lanigan isn’t U20, then they need an average of 144 minutes from U20s for the rest of the season, so easily manageable, but still something to think about
