Details from FIFA website about Club world club. Tickets on sale - Category 1 about $NZ40 ish - very reasonable.
rumour has it that none of the players who won the oleague with team wellington will be getting a bonus for it.
Still a long way to go in the campaign and costs to compete

?? they won the OCL so I'd say that campaign is over and that's what the rumour mill was talking about
Given TW went cap in hand to NZF and the other franchises to get enough money to just compete in the OCL its no surprise they didn't pay any bonus. If they weren't going to pay bonuses after the CWC that would be more of a concern
Why would amateur players be expecting a bonus payment?

yawn, you really need to get away from the idea that Amateur = the corinthian spirit it was originally meant, It hasn't been like that in football since 1900!

Team Wellington predictably are starting to bolster their squad for the Club World Cup in December:
Meanwhile Henry Cameron is in Wellington...
? but hearing its Team Wellington not Wellington Phoenix for the All Whites midfielder.

As long as they don't poach any Canterbury United players I'll be happy...
It's a big season for Team Wellington with the WCC and all
Any new signings or rumors?
ANNOUNCEMENT | We've locked in midfielder, Henry Cameron!
A @NZ_Football international, joining us from @LimerickFCie, we're excited to have Henry join for the 2018/19 season.
Welcome to the #teedubs family @HenryCameron97!
Great signing, Look foward to seeing him play.
Very excited about the upcoming TW season! Chose not to buy a shirt last year and thoroughly regretted the decision. Will definitely buy one this season!
Looks like Tim Brown reincarnated!
Who is he?
Olympic, Hawkes Bay United midfielder. Works hard. Actually the Brown comparison not entirely unfair.
Had a stint at Wests before Olympic?

Think he was one of Declan's (OLE Academy) boys.
Did anyone go to yesterday's game?

Sounds like Tratt is available, unless he heads back to NPL.

No one we didn't already know about. Thought TW was really good in the first half, and could/should have been up by more than 2. They rang the changes in the second, and also lost a bit of fitness, so Nix B managed to turn it around. Even so, TW still had chances in the second, and Ilich hit the post from a free kick. Definitely good signs if you're a TW fan.

What's happened with TW coms this year. Was awesome last year player announcements, stats etc. Was a great build up to the beginning of the season. Seems a bit flat this year! or is it the quiet before the storm!!!

They've only signed two new players this season, Henry Cameron and Alex Palezvic

Fair enough, but last year they let you know the about the whole team, not just the newbies. Some were re signings for a couple of years I think.

It was rather annoying last year
I think the Comms and Marketing of a lot of the teams in the league leaves a lot to be desired. Websites not updated for over a year, no real social media strategy, lack of community engagement. 'Sponsorship's' are really just donations as there doesn't seem to be a hell of a lot of leverage. So much potential but little action. Apart from maybe Canterbury and Auckland who are exceptional at it. I think it really does go a long way in engaging their fans.

My favourite piece of marketing is the recent "congratulations for guessing the player's favourite food is pizza" facebook post.
Gold.
Looking forward to sprawling on the couch tomorrow afternoon to watch the first game of the season #COYTW
Rumours of a new midfielder has signed or in the process of being signed. An experienced player from another city, good enough to play in any side in the League.
Claps?
Claps?
Done deal I Believe
love it, awesome!
