Hey whatever happened to those two promising players from the Solomon Islands who lit up a recent youth world Cup? Weren't they supposed to play for the reserves?

Ah they left at the end of the 2019 Scots College school year to go back to the Solomons, then went to trial at Victory at the start of 2020. Same issue as before though, couldn't sign a contract as they're still both not 18. They're both back at Henderson Eels in the Solomon Islands S-League. 17y/o Raphael Lea'i has scored 53 goals in 24 league games, when he turns 18 I wouldn't be surprised to see him go straight to Europe or similar
