RIP Alex Manninger. Shocking news.
Remember him fondly for heroics in the 97/98 season when Seaman was out injured, in particular a penalty shootout win in the FA Cup QF and kept a clean sheet at Old Trafford in the 1-0 win as part of 6 clean sheets in a row in the league. Was also the first Arsenal player in my time to have my first name.
Had no recollection of him ending up at Liverpool at the end of his career but doesn't look like he played a game for them.

Edit: Turns out he even got PL player of the month when he had that run of clean sheets in 1998. That's only ever been won 10 times by a goalkeeper.
