Mind me asking what your monthly Vodaphone bill is?? I'm paying $150 Per month. This includes 10 gig Broadband, telephone, Cable TV, Sky sports. There has to be something cheaper
I'm paying $65/ month currently for land line and 30 GB broadband with Telstra-Clear for one year but that was a special offer and no longer exists (as Telstra-Clear have been swallowed by Vodafone). I pay for Sky direct from Sky ($47/ month) and don't have Sky Sport at present. So that makes $112/ month (would be $138/ month if I had Sky Sport)
I'll be going back to Vodafone soon because my 12 month contract with Telstra-Clear expires and I want to get Sky Sport for the All Whites, A-League etc. This Naked Broadband package is available in most larger towns - check if you can get it on their website.
What I'll be paying with Vodafone: Home Phone wireless (functions like a land line except it's wireless - no charge for local calls, can use a phone card for tolls still) = $25/ month
Naked Broadband (this whole package is for those who don't require a land line - hence cheaper - using Home Phone wireless as above or a cell phone) - discounted if you have an "On Account" mobile phone plan with Vodafone or Home Phone Wireless:
50 GB = $55 200 GB = $65 400 GB = $75
Sky Sport half price offer = $13 / month (" Add a new or existing SKY subscription to your Vodafone Naked Broadband or Ideal, Ultimate Choice or Mega broadband and home phone pack. You’ll immediately qualify for one of these great ‘SKY with Vodafone’ offers – half price SKY Sport, free monthly upgrade to MY SKI HDi or MY SKY+ for just $5)
So, with Sky TV Basic package direct from Sky (Basic = $47/ month)
TOTAL: $25 (Home phone wireless) + $55 (Naked broadand 50 GB) + Sky Basic = $47 + Sky Sport = $13
= $140 / month for the whole lot
$10 / month cheaper than what you're on now and you'll get 50 GB instead of only 10
