That Lucas Leiva has got to be the most average midfielder i have ever seen, Alonso was sorely missed....Why oh why Keane didnt come on for Lucas and Stevie back to midfield at half time i dont know........2 points lost there for mine

Agreed about Lucas. He hasn't impressed at all, gives the ball up waaay too easy and his passing leaves a lot to be desired.

Can't understand why Keane didn't come on for Lucas either. The subs were weird today, to say the least, and we didn't even use 'em all ffs.

Did you see the PSV game, the Arsenal game, the Newcastle game? He was the best player on the pitch. While Inter are a different team, he absolutely hammered them when Alonso didnt travel last season too. He was poor yesterday, but one of the only players who actually tried. Think we missed Insua a bit, as Aurelio offered nothing, partially due to this being his first start since returning from injury. And what about Hyypia, eh lads? Just an immense player. Still, terribly disappointing. I'm not a huge fan of Kuyt up front on his own, but it worked against Newcastle...Stoke were just much tighter.

Also, 4-2-3-1 is not 4-5-1. I suppose you'd rather played 4-4-2 and have been forced to pump long balls up to the forwards, and then won absolutely nothing. From memory, Masch and Stevie dont work as well as you would think. 4-2-3-1 won us all those games at the back end of last season, but with Torres as the lone forward, rather than Kuyt.

And, with that United win, it seems likely that we have given up top spot before we play Everton. We absolutely have to win that Derby now. Why do we never do well in December/January?!

Lastly, Rafa's outburst was strange...He should have maybe waited until after the Stoke game and, if we'd won, released his fury. Still, it was hilarious. From what my mates have told me, a lot of people in the UK really respect Rafa for that! Anyway, good on him- I love the way he referred to him as "Mr Ferguson"!
