Actually, I'd like to see the players that we've purchased and employed as strikers at least get a start, particularly against a team that's fighting to stay up in the league.
Starting Keane at least would've given us more options in having an extra man up amounst a defense that we knew was going to be tight.
Still think that Lucas is very average, but don't want to get into a pissing contest about formation and players...
As for Rafa, weird but thoroughly amusing. Timing might not have been right, but laughed my ass off at some of the things he had to say about "Mr. Ferguson". I think his comments mirror what a lot of people think but aren't prepared to say. "Facts" and all that...

True, and Keane was, I thought, brought in to unlock tight defences and lobbing it up to him woulda done us no good as he's not going to win much in the air so we would have played it on the ground, which would have been better. Yeah, its a pretty bad result all things given.
Yeah, I think Lucas is a good player, but has a hard time of making into the "Best midfield in the world"- captain of Argentina, one of the best and most complete players in the world in Gerrard and a player who played an important role in Spain's Euro winning side and probably the most cultured footballer we've seen since Molby.
, yeah i know! It was hilarious when he said Mr Ferguson should just do the fixtures himself, and also when Chelsea should use zonal marking because United use man-to-man on the referee! Class. I absolutely love the guy and dont buy into any of the medias comments about him. Zonal marking (as opposed to man-to-man, which never leaks goals) , rotation (see Mr Ferguson's record of "rotation") etc. Yeah, thats right, which is why people cant believe someone had the balls to say it outright!Yeah, he's getting on now, but every year he's written off and every year he comes back strong. Starting to look ageless!
