Alonso has been the best player in the league but he hasn't shown it?
 
. He gets on with things quietly- lets Gerrard do all the heroics. But, as we saw against Pompey- instant impact. The guy is really class. But now, without Gerrard, he needs to alter his role slightly. Is what I meant.
