So far Liverpool today have been linked with having interest in :

Steven Defour ï¿½ Belgian 21 year old central midfielder from Standard Liege

Alberto Aquilani ï¿½ Italian 25 year old central midfielder from Roma

Christian Poulsen. ï¿½ Danish 29 year old central midfielder from Juventus

Does this show that there are no quality options in the Premiership that would be available ?

Wouldn't mind adding a quality British player like Joe Cole , Jenas or Ireland to the squad to give us more options for the Champion League Squad.
