I never really though he'd leave. I'll be sad to see him go. A true dictator of how we played, the controller of everything. He controlled the tempo. While Gerrard and Torres were struggling with injury, he just kept going and going. When we were at home, he kept us playing, when we were away, he made sure we were never under pressure. He very rarely played the wrong ball. I would wish him well, but I cannot stand the Madridistas. So I hope he wins f*ck all.

On a positive note, at least we will have some money and I trust Rafa will spend it well. But I think that the last thing we should do is drop Gerrard back. We have one of the most awesome front two combination in the world. We shouldn't sacrifice that. We have a good chance of winning the League without Xabi, but we have to hope those two fire and stay injury free!
