Is it time for a fresh race as manager? Or will this be like a 'win something or else' season. And also does anyone else think Lucas isnt up to epl standard.

To be fair, you aren't close to the club. But anybody (with a brain) who is knows that we can't get rid of Rafa. We simply can't. Who will replace him? Then we have to deal with more "Five Year Plans", we have no money to improve. Who would even take the job? No cash, fighting owners, immense pressure- particularly to win the League- it just isn't something any decent manager would want to come into. Never mind the fact that Rafa is the only one who offers any stability to the club.

Lucas? Goodness me- that's a new one. No, he's not great. He's not as bad as is made out either. He was boss against your lot in the first half. He was great in our (more and more distant!) victories. The problem with him is he doesn't really have anything he's great at. But he keeps it moving, makes good runs into the box, is capable of breaking play up and has a wonderfully cultured right foot.

The comment about Fletcher is fair. I thought he was a joke figure, but he's been crucial to the United midfield in the past two seasons.

Give the lad some time. I'd have him in the squad to back up Aquilani anyway. And its not like we have loads of cash to go and buy anybody else anyway. You don't get Brazil Player of the Year if you can't play.
