RPM in default on loan; Gillett says team healthy
Richard Petty Motorsports, the NASCAR team owned by George Gillett, has been in default on a roughly $90 million loan since at least February but expects to soon restructure the obligation, sources said last week.
You know, as crappy a season as this has been. On field performances, injuries, my falling out with Rafa... I think the aforementioned Gillet and his Twit of a buddy Hick are where I'll focus my venting and displeasure for now. As much as I have struggled to understand some of Rafa's business, I guess working under these idiots leaves you managing a side by the smell of an oily texan rag. Bit like being handed a turd with icing sugar on it and being asked to magically turn it into tapas.
I guess where I'm heading with this is that I've pretty mush always liked Rafa, he's freakin' mysterious at the best of times but he's done some damn fine stuff. I'm curious to see what he can do with some serious leadership and funding above him. Just curious, mind...
