Sevilla have started in a way that suggests they can be seen as a superclub alongside Barca and Real. Real 2 Athletico 1 normal service begins......

Thanks. I actually have a Vallodolid shirt from 2004 (from Subside Sports).

I expect they will be the only survivors of the three at seasons end.

Yes they could do. Early days yet - it is the squad depths that usually catch sides out in this League. The big clubs can cope with the injuries, suspensions and form loss where the smaller sides cant.

Ronaldo's weak point exposed: he has scored only once in his last 68 free kick attempts.

Yet Ancelotti persists in allowing him to take all of Real's free kicks.

Gareth Bale has a far superior record in this respect for Real.

A real weak point for Real.

In Real's last game Ronaldo missed three free kick attempts and a penalty as Real strugled to draw 2-2 with Valencia at home.

Apparently Ancelotti dare not upset Ronaldo by removing him from free kicks.

And yet he is one of the worse regular free kick takers at any major club in Europe.

'Yum yum - desserts!'

Barcelona v Sampdoria friendly live tomorrow at 6.30 am on Duke channel.

Good to see there's still some football on Freeview.

Repeated tomorrow and Saturday afternoon.

First big La Liga game of the season as Barcelona play Atletico Madrid. Kicks off at 8:00 and will be on beIN Sports 2. Definitely worth a watch over Northampton vs United.

Another cracker two hours beforehand as Real Madrid play the Yellow Submarines, Villareal, at 6:00 also on beIN Sports 2.

Lucky enough to be spending the week in Spain. Went on stadium tour of the amazing Bernabeu Stadium today. Watched Atletico and Barca lose on tv last night in a bar and tonight watching Real. Such fast football.

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet
