Had a good laugh at human beach ball Maradona giving the big double middle-finger salute when Argentina got the late winner. Bizarre sight. Argentina are proof that a few seconds of individual brilliance can win games for the even most utterly ordinary of teams.

I want to know what Maradonna was on. He was absolutely wasted with eyes rolling. Two birds and asleep all in the one game? Too much coke probably.

Definitely coke, here's a video of him on the plane after the game doing tequila shots with a plastic bag of unidentified white powder beside him.

I still can't believe how good that Messi goal was. The first two touches are outrageous, especially running at full pace.

I reckon it's the best goal so far (in part because of the context), but I suspect any award will go to a long range bomb.

As for Maradonna, kinda sucks to see how much of a train wreck he has become as he was a bit of an idol for me as a kid growing up in the slums of Christchurch :D

But yeah, Maradonna looks like a heart attack waiting to happen, sadly

i agree. It was extremely difficult at that pace with a defender trying to block himoff

He was a train wreck even in his early playing days and has had multiple heart attacks already. Idol regardless.
