QB1 Cam Newton
QB2 Blake Bortles
QB3 Nick Foles

Seems an appropriate day to update on the Billikids as their #1 QB signs a 5yr $103m contract with the Panthers. He ranks inside the top 10 QBs in the short term, and well inside the top 5 long term QBs. With two other starting QBs in the back-up roles it looks pretty solid. Bortles the clear #2, though if Foles excels he could do well in St Louis/Los Angeles.

RB1 Tre Mason
RB2 Fred Jackson
RB3 Matt Asiata
RB4 Christine Michael
RB5 Benjamin Cunningham
RB6 Ahmad Bradshaw
RB7 Adrian Peterson
RB8 Charles Sims
RB9 LeGarrette Blount
RB10 Robert Turbin
RB11 Todd Gurley
RB12 Tevin Coleman

Just a few RBs on this squad, led by the previously suspended Adrian Peterson, another relevant player to talk about as he reported to Vikings OTAs today and ended his 'holdout' he had absolutely no leverage. Will be a star RB once again this season. Gurley & Coleman are actually the next two ranked in this team, Billikids have to be happy that they also have Mason behind Gurley incase he sits early in the season. Blount, Mason, sims & FJax all kind of fall in the same area on the scale for this season, but they are merely back-ups here as Peterson & one of the Rookies will be the starters. But the depth will be great for bye weeks.

WR1 AJ. Green
WR2 Sammy Watkins
WR3 DeAndre Hopkins
WR4 Keenan Allen
WR5 Brandin Cooks
WR6 Devante Adams
WR7 Jordan Mathews
WR8 Donte Moncrief
WR9 Brian Quick
WR10 Sammie Coates
WR11 Stefon Diggs

This is one of the strongest positional groups in the entire league. AJ Green is the only Top 10 WR in the group, but there are five others ranked in the Top 20 for the 2015 season, and all of those guys; Watkins, Hopkins, Allen, Cooks & Mathews are also young with big futures ahead of them, this makes WR a real point of strength for the Billikids and is part of the reason I predict them as a team to watch this season and into the future. The other guys on the team are all young in reasonable positions so if any of these guys fail then they should be able to step up.

TE1 Jimmy Graham
TE2 Travis Kelce
TE3 Tyler Kroft
TE4 MyCole Pruitt

Graham in Seattle is scary to me, as in I don't want to face Graham at ALL. He is a perfect weapon for Mr. Wilson, and the target they needed. With three young guys joining the squad for the Billikids there is a good solid back-up here. Kelce is right behind Graham in dynasty ranking, and looks soo good.

Draft - The best part of the draft for this team was completely fixing the downside of their 2014 squad which was RBs, this season they look to have fixed that by adding Gurley & coleman who should both be viable starters. Later picks of WRs & TEs could be seen as able to be released without issue if they don't turn out.

Conclusion - I am putting the full jinx in effect here, if I have to pick a favourite for the 2015 title it is the Billikids, their squad is strong across the board with superstars in some positions as well. The long term actually looks pretty good as well with a bunch of young guys who could develop into superstars in the coming years as well. The extension for Cam also gives this squad a sense of stability at an important role.

Knowing that Matt is an Evertonian, I am sure that he will snatch mediocrity from the jaws of excellence ;-)
