UAE playing a good game plan, but Japan could be back in the game if they can get their first touches to stick a bit more.

Surely Japan wont be that lethargic in the 2nd half. Either they truly are tired or else the coach's complaints about playing too many games in a short space of time has psychologically sucked the life out of them.

Commentator (I think it was Hill) said they played their first team for all the games so far.  Maybe catching up with them.

Put 50 on UAE to win this, the biggest bet I've made in years, but disappointed with match so far. Omar not even going awesome. Still, c'mon UAE! Omar to go wide in second half could be better I reckon, but they need to hold the ball better, not be scared by being ahead vs Japan and go for a 2nd goal. Don't need to throw men forward, just hold the ball better, own it like they were doing before going ahead and how they dominated Iran.

They forgot to mention that so have UAE.

Japan have certainly upped the tempo and have had some nice passages but UAE look pretty tight in defense.
