I saw in another thread that the Victory were wanting $1m comp. In what planet are they living in?
In other news, Kevin Muscat will provide ample comedy lols as the new HC of the Victory. He can tell the players how he did it 'his way'

Did they specify in the contract that if Ange is offered the Clowns job, they will not release him unless they are compensated?
I personally don't think Muscat is a good replacement either but it will be certainly entertaining.
Muscat in caretaker role surely?
Just as well Kosta cant follow him there as well..

Sounds like the Victory board has accepted 50k for Ange .... so much for that million.
As I said, what planet are they living on.

Ange is in. Bye bye lucas neill
Reckon the Victory players will be pissed at this? Kosta for example, I think it's safe to say that Ange is the only (or at least the main) reason he's in Melbourne.
What length of deal is Kosta on.... Return to the Phoenix?

Surely that would have an out clause of Ange left. That's the only reason he went there.

Yeah but the story around Sydney was he backed out of a deal so am not sure he would be welcome there tbh
Mark Schwarzer has hanged up his international boots after turning down a Socceroos call up against Costa Rica.
Top goalkeeper and top bloke. Looking forward to seeing Mitch Langerak and Mat Ryan step up.
Without doubt one of Aussie's best ever pro ballers. Hopefully his experience can be used in some way in the near future.

FIFA have ruled that the switch was illegal and banned his new club, Al Gharafa, from making any transfers for a year, but Bresciano's personal penalty threatens to be immense unless his appeal is successful.
Al Gharafa have appealed against the verdict to the Court of Arbitration in Sport but unless it is heard by the early part of next year, Bresciano faces the prospect of being suspended during, or at the very least for the entire build-up to, next year's World Cup.
