I know the U20 WC is on, and yes NZF are short of cash/resources - but still seems another lost opportunity for the AWs not to play Socceroos as their 2nd game in this window.

Marinovic, M Boxall, Tuiloma, Wynne, Smith, Lewis, Rufer, Ridenton, Rojas, Barba, Wood is still a very useful starting eleven.

bench - Sail, Kyle Adams, Roux, Brotherton, Payne, Mcgarry, Musa, WeeMac, de Jong, Brockie, Collier

water boys - Thomas & Reid

Being a FIFA window MLS clubs would be forced to release their NZ players. Just one game, and at the moment MLS clubs with Kiwis get a free ride re FIFA windows. They could have no real complaints.

Lewis, Rojas & Brockie have all just come off light club seasons. Of non A League guys, only Wood you could agrue needs a rest.

Being Australia, and being so long since we played them even the Woodsman I'm thinking would have been keen.

Alas. Sigh
